| Let‘s Check
"Let's Check" is a global-scale project for chess knowledge storage. Anyone can participate regardless of their personal skill level. Analysis done by a chess engine on any given position is saved automatically and is immediately available to anyone looking at that same position.

If someone calculates a deeper line than the predecessor, it overwrites the previous analysis. Thus, the information available in Let's Check becomes more comprehensive and precise over time. The system is built on cooperation. No one is expected to publish their secret opening preparations, however for outstanding current and historical games, it makes sense to share the engine lines with others, especially since it requires no more work than a click of the mouse.

Whoever saves a line in Let's Check can have their name attached to it. If the line is replaced by someone else’s deeper calculation then their analysis and name overwrites the previous one. For every position up to three separate lines are kept. If a new position is not only saved into the Live Book, but is also analyzed to a sufficient depth by an engine, that person is considered to have discovered the position and their name is forever linked to that position even if someone should overwrite their analysis with a deeper one at a later date. This means that any position that is not a part of known chess opening theory is open to be discovered by you.
Upon winning a variation, an entry with the engine and the user’s name is entered into a rankinglist. This conquest is weighted so that winning a variation according to how frequntly the position is visited and the depth of the analysis. Nevertheless you can use and contribute to Let’s Check anonymously.
